Windows 7

It seems that not all addresses are returned on windows 7.

When I run my code on WindowsXP I get 57 address, on windows 7 only 5.

I have the same issue. Whatever I try (using different tapi3 libs) I only find the following (seemingly standard) addresses:

  • SSTP
  • PPTP
  • RAS PPPoE Line
  • WAN Miniport (L2TP)
  • AgileVPN

All have the same caller cards and all have NDIS as device class. I installed another LAN TAPI Service Provider and so far I have not been able to detect a resp. address.

I changed my app.config to 'useLegacyV2RuntimeActivationPolicy', I set the target platform to only x86... and nothing changes. Does this have to do with Windows7? Or is there an alternate way to do CTI with .NET? I really have a problem here because customers want the CTI to run on Win7... :'-(

I can't think of any reason why Windows 7 would act any differently - did you try an enumeration tool like this one:

http://www.julmar.com/tapi/enumerate_tapi_devices.zip

See what it reports?  It's native C++ and might give some insight.

i've got the same problem. using enumtapi, i see only the following lines, too:

SSTP, PPTP, RAS PPPoE Line, WAN Miniport (L2TP), AgileVPN.

Is this a problem of the library or windows 7?
